Enchant Arm

Duration: 1 turn
Range: Touch   The caster imbues armour, a shield, or a weapon with a combat bonus.  
  • Application: When cast on a suit or armour, shield, or weapon of any sort, each application of the enchantment grants +1 bonus to-hit and damage, up to a maximum bonus of +3.
  • Chance of failure: There is a base 1/6 chance that the spell fails, permanently cursing the weapon with a –1 penalty. This chance increases cumulatively by 2/6 for each application beyond the first (i.e. 3/6 for a +2 weapon, 5/6 for a +3 weapon).
